HAVO NANO GRIP YARN

The grip is in the yarn.

More contact. Less unwanted movement. No raised silicone dots.

Nano Grip Yarn is knitted directly into the sock’s key grip zones, helping your foot, sock and boot stay more connected through every sprint, cut and strike.

THE GECKO PRINCIPLE

Grip, up close. From gecko to yarn.

A gecko—grips through countless microscopic structures across its toe pads. Each contact is tiny. Together, they create remarkable hold.

Nano Grip Yarn is inspired by the same broad design principle: countless fine contact points through our grip yarn working together to create more contact and greater resistance against sliding.

VISIBLE STRUCTURE

Grip starts at the surface.

Repeated ridges across the toe pads create a structured contact surface—not a few isolated grip points.

MICROSCOPIC CONTACT

Tiny contacts. Working together.

At the micro level, larger ridges divide into many finer contact structures.

HAVO NANO GRIP YARN

The idea, woven for play.

Fine, textured fibers create a dense contact surface while remaining soft, flexible and low-profile.

WHY IT MATTERS

Foot. Sock. Boot.Moving as one.

Slipping can happen in two places: between your foot and the sock, and between the sock and your boot. HAVO’s internal and external Nano Grip zones are designed to manage both.

02

Woven in. Not glued on.

The grip is knitted into the sock itself, not printed on as a separate surface layer.

Soft, textile-based traction without raised silicone bumps crowding your boot.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Grip withoutthe bumps.

Raised silicone dots sit on top of a sock. Nano Grip Yarn makes the grip part of the textile itself, creating a softer, thinner and more continuous contact surface.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Everything
you needto know.

01 What is Nano Grip Yarn?

Nano Grip Yarn is a fine, high-friction yarn knitted into HAVO’s key grip zones. Its textured surface creates many small contact points that help reduce unwanted movement between your foot, sock and boot.

02 Is the grip on the inside or outside?

Both. Internal grip helps connect your foot to the sock. External grip helps connect the sock to your boot.

03 Does it feel sticky or bulky?

No. Nano Grip Yarn is a soft, textile-based grip surface designed to sit low against the foot without raised silicone bumps crowding your boot.

04 Is it printed or glued onto the sock?

No. Nano Grip Yarn is knitted into the sock itself, so there is no separate printed or glued-on grip layer.

05 Does it eliminate all movement?

No sock can compensate for the wrong boot or sock size. Nano Grip Yarn is designed to help reduce unwanted movement and create a closer connection when the complete fit is right.
